Murali featured on NDTV 24x7

Sri Lanka’s spin icon Muttiah Muralitharan had further laurels bestowed on him when he was featured in a documentary by one of the biggest Indian television channels NDTV 24x7 in their popular program ‘Walk the Talk’ on Friday.
The television station chose Seenigama as the location where a lot of charity work is taking place for the displaced persons following the 2004 tsunami. The documentary featured Muralitharan’s life as a cricketer and his work through charity.
The interview was conducted by Sekhar Gupta, Editor in chief of ‘Indian Express’ while walking through the village to showcase the tsunami development work initiated by the Foundation of Goodness of which Muralitharan plays a key role as a Trustee.
‘Walk the Talk’ is a program where prominent worldwide personalities have been featured in the calibre of Indian Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Indian Premier Manmohan Singh, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid and the likes.
NDTV 24X7 recently won the Asian TV Award for the Best talk show program.
