In the name of love at Trans Asia

A candlelit six-course gourmet dining experience, live music by Warren and Rozzette for you to dance the night away, and a glass of Romeo and Juliet each to start the evening – sounds like it is definitely going to be a memorable evening!

For starters, there is a Stolen Moment which is Norwegian Salmon and lobster parfait, while Unspoken Words is a butternut pumpkin cream soup infused with star anise.

This is followed by A Heart Opener which is a rendezvous of seafood in creamy Pernod sauce with creole slaw, while Yours and Mine is a wasabi and mandarin sorbet flavoured with cointreau.

Then emerges The Hearty Affair – a pan-fried lamb cutlet with apple and mint glaze, on roasted garlic potato gratin or Supreme of chicken filled with marinated prawns on green peppercorn sauce.

Aptly named The Fitting Finale is the Amaretto and strawberry parfait in almond tulip with wild berry coulis. Coffee or tea, and on your way out there is a chocolate and rose for the lady, when the night is over! It’s not over yet as Goodies continues to laden the shelves with all the treats that complement the occasion! From beautiful arrangements of roses, single long-stemmed roses, bouquets, and baskets, all of which could be ordered with prior notice.

Personalised boxes of chocolates, cakes, and gift-wrapped chocolates will be on sale. Even if it is at short notice, do call any of the team to assist you, for it wouldn’t be a proper Valentine’s Day, if you haven’t popped into Goodies at the Trans Asia Hotel. A date it is then February 14, when, in the name of love, it can be renewed, endorsed, or just begun.
