Moratuwa Arts AGM 2008/09

Moratuwa Arts Forum, (MAF) completes another eventful year and is due to hold its 15th Annual General Meeting on May 3, 2009 at the Sripali Reception Hall, Idama Moratuwa, at 5:15 p.m. with the TV and Radio Presenter Chamuditha Samarawickrema as the chief guest.

Festival of Flowers XV1 – ‘Serendipity’

An exhibition of floral arrangements

 The Shien Ikebana & Floral Art Society of Sri Lanka will hold its annual floral arrangement show, ‘Serendipity’ on May 3 and 4, at the Lower Crystal Room of the Taj Samudra Hotel from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Demonstrations in the art of Ikebana and western flower arranging will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 3 and Monday, May 4. The theme for the exhibition is Serendipity meaning of tunate discoveries by accident.
