Wildlife photographic workshop tours Yala
40 members of the Negombo Photographers Association participated in a wildlife photographic workshop in the Yala National Park recently.
Deshashakthi Rohan Fonseka, a wildlife photographer, a programme instructor, and the director of the Negombo Photographers Association explained, “Like any other form of photography, wildlife photography demands dedication and perseverance, above all a love for wildlife. The primary rule of the game is observation. Study the behaviour of the animals we wish to photograph. As venturing into deep jungles may not be safe, one can certainly learn animal behaviour in nature parks. However, initially try to go without the camera. When you have the camera with you, you will try to photograph the animals and miss out the study of their behaviour.”
