|Hundreds injured during Vesak

“There were several incidents of receiving electric
shocks, slips and fallings as well,” she added.
According to her, about 100 patients out of the 255
had left after receiving treatment.
“The injured were from the age group 15-60 years,”
Most of the injuries were caused when groups of
people have gone out at night to celebrate Vesak.
“The public should be cautious these days, when they
are engaging in different activities, especially
during this festivity period,” said Soyza.
