Murali on Rupavahini

Muttiah Muralidaran is all set to appear in local television for the first time after his retirement from Test Cricket. The beloved cricketer would appear in a special live interview programme aired by the National Rupavahini today at 9.45 pm which would also give the fans an opportunity to talk with the legendary cricketer via telephone.
Muralitharan grabbed his final and 800th wicket in the first Test match of the ongoing series against India. The match also marked the end of the test career of the legendary cricketer who was given a grand send-off by the local and international authorities of the sport.
The programme would highlight momentous moments from Muraliís career as the number one spinner in the world while discussing his expertise and unique technique.
A special broadcasting of the much anticipated interview is also made through The Eye Channel and NTV in all three languages to enable all his fans of different ethnicities share this special moment with their much beloved hero. (LH)
