Deep SEE 2010 for higher education, employment

With the hope of providing the youth of the Southern Province with proper knowledge and guidance in the fields of education and employment, GANG Lanka organised Deep South Education & Employment Exhibition (Deep SEE). GANG Lanka (Graduate’s Association for Next Generation in Sri Lanka) is an organisation comprising graduates of varying professions, who are involved in providing small and medium businessmen and industrialists in the Island, with necessary know-how to conduct their work.

Deep South Education Exhibition 2010 or Deep SEE 2010, is the first and biggest of its kind to be held in the Southern Province, that will showcase education and employment. The objective is to offer youth living in these parts, the opportunity of getting to know prospects of higher education and employment. It will be held at the Galle Municipal Council (GMC) Auditorium on September 3, 4 and 5 from 10 am to 6 pm.
Compared with the other provinces, the GCE AL students of the Southern Province scored the highest. But a recent survey by GANG Lanka shows that, after the A’Levels, they lack knowledge of Higher Education and Employment opportunities.

The GMC acts as one of the main funding organisations for Deep SEE 2010 Education & Employment Exhibition. Making this Island the Centre of Knowledge in the Universe is an aim of the present Government, which is embraced by the Mayor of the GMC, Methsiri de Silva and its staff, and that is indeed praiseworthy of them to make Deep SEE 2010 an absolute success.
The sponsorship of Deep SEE 2010 has been undertaken by the Auston Institute, a BOI project begun recently in Sri Lanka. All students studying for the GCE ALs, and those who have already sat, undergraduates and graduates, and also working professionals will benefit from this exhibition by way of improving their standards, while those looking out for employment will gain much needed insight to developing their skills in their aspired professions.

Represented by over 100 overseas educational and employment agencies, Deep SEE 2010 Education & Employment Exhibition will open the way to gain knowledge of high level job opportunities the worldwide and how to develop one’s skills to suit educational standards required to gain entry to such openings. Youth so developed by the exhibition’s offerings, will also be able to gain entry into opportunities that will open up with the Hambantota Harbour, Mattala Airport and those other huge development schemes going on in the country.
Deep SEE 2010 is a must not only to the Youth seeking opportunities, but also school teachers, principals and parents.
