Govt-TNA talks on Thursday
By Arthur Wamanan
The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) would meet a government delegation on February 3 to discuss further on addressing the immediate needs of the Tamil people, a senior TNA parliamentarian said.
TNA MP Mavai Senathirajah said the meeting would focus on immediate issues faced by the people such as resettlement, disappearances and the release of political prisoners.
The two parties would also discuss on finding a political solution to the country’s ethnic question during the following meetings.
The first meeting between the two parties was held on January 10.
