Trail arrives at PPD

The 27-day charity walk ‘Trail’ ended in Sri Lanka's northern most tip of Point Pedro recently. The walk organised by the Colours of Trust charity is to raise US$ 2 million to build a cancer unit in the war-hit Jaffna Hospital. One of the main participants of the walk, former cricket captain Mahela Jayawardene laid the first foundation stone at a ceremony attended by hundreds of participants
