The Draft National Audit Bill has received Cabinet approval and will be presented to Parliament as an emergency bill, the government said today. Cabinet Spokesman Minister Rajitha Senaratne said Cabinet approved a proposal presented by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to present the said Draft Bill to Parliament as an urgent bill under clause 122 of the Constitution.
