Govt assures safety of self-exiled journalists

Democratic National Alliance MP and JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake told the Parliament that few self-exiled journalists who were in Nepal have been refused safe-return to Sri Lanka by the Embassy officials. He told the House the government should  intervene the issue and must confirm the safety of the journalists.

While the JVP leader mentioned only the name of Shantha Wijesuriya and Foreign Minister Managla samaraweera who replied to the question mentioned about two other persons. Those were the printer who underwent a lot of issues after printing a poster and his wife. The two persons; according to Minister Samaraweera, are Jayampathy Bulathsinhala and Kumudini

Minisrter Samaraweera assured that whoever Sri Lankan in Nepal will be assured safety and security.
