MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Prof GL Pieris and Minister MKDAS Gunawardene.

SLFP General Secretary Anuya Yapa speaking to The Nation said that Prime Ministerial candidacy at the next general election, dissolution of the local government bodies, contesting the elections as the UPFA, giving the nominations for prospectus applicants, politicization of the FCID and several other topics have been raised at the meeting.

President Maithripala has promised to study all these issues lengthily and all these to be taken again at the party’s Central Committee. However, all have agreed to work for the victory of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.
