UNP gears up to recruit two million members

Senior leaders of the UNP, including its leader Ranil Wickremesinghe, General Secretary Tissa Attanayake, Daya Gamage, Joseph Michael Perera, Gamini Jayawickrama Perera, Lakshman Kiriella and Dr Harsha De Silva were in Galle yesterday to kick off party’s new program, ‘Radical Changes 2014’, which aims to recruit two million new members to the UNP.

The first of these induction programs of new party members was held at ‘Aradhana Hotel’ on Richmond Hill in Galle, under the patronage of the UNP Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe yesterday.
Addressing the gathering, the UNP leader explained that the aim of the program was to recruit two million new members to the party with the ultimate aim of toppling the government in 2014.
The program continues today in Galle.
