In Doha-Qatar motor accident

A SriLankan Airlines female cabin crew member was killed in a motor accident in Doha-Qatar on Friday (January 30). Two other cabin crew members and one air hostess also suffered injuries due to the accident and were later admitted to hospital.

SriLankan Airlines releasing a media statement, yesterday (31) stated that they have been informed of a tragic road accident in Doha, Qatar on Friday (30) involving four of its cabin crew members. According to Sri Lankan Airlines, one crew member is confirmed as having succumbed to her injuries while three others have been hospitalized and are reported to be in a stable condition.

 “We are shocked and deeply saddened by this news, and our first priority has been to be in touch with the families of those involved in this tragic accident and to provide them with all the necessary care and assistance in their hour of grief”, said SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena.

For the sake of the family members, the airline requests that all inquiries be directed to the airline.
