AGRES of Wayamba University on May 30 and 31

Faculty of Agriculture and Plantation Management of the Wayamba University  will be holding its Agricultural Research Symposium (AGRES) on May 30 and 31.  This is  the 12 session of the AGRES and this year’s event will have Prof Kshanika Hiriburegama, chairperson of the University Grants Commission as chief guest.
AGRES was begun in 2001 and is held annually to complement the work and to further develop the research, scientific writing and presentation skills of final year students of the faculty of Agriculture and Plantation Management. AGRES also stimulates student and staff interactions in an enriched forum consisting of scientists of other collaborative institutes, academics and industrialists. A unique forum for providing innovative multidisciplinary research related to agriculture, the event will also feature scientific research presentations in the disciplines of Agri Business Management, Biotechnology, Horticulture and Plantation Management Landscape gardening.
