Junior athlete from St. Sylvester’s College Kandy U.B.D.M.S. Rajapakse has qualified to participate at the IAAF World Junior Athletic Championship in the 400m hurdles event. He qualified after achieving the qualifying time of 53.81 seconds in the event. Four other athletes too have qualified for the World Championships which is a unique achievement.
