Thomians clinch Sathasivam Trophy for first time

‘Singer Cup’ u-19 inter-schools cricket

S. Thomas’ defeated Wesley by an innings and 54 runs in their cricket fixture and annexed the Sathasivam Trophy played at Mount Lavinia yesterday.

This trophy was introduced in 2000 and this is the first time a side has won it.

Left-arm leg-spinner Tharindu Ratnayake of S. Thomas’ claimed 15 wickets for 59 runs in the match.
