The Nation Sunday Print Edition - page 12

Aries (Mesha):
Lagnadhipati Mars moving
into your Lagna on March 23 fortifies you with
the effects of Ruchaka Yoga which imbues
you with drive and dynamism, courage, power
and influence. This is a very favorable position
for natives holding or seeking high office. You are likely to
develop an altruistic and philanthropic bent and incur heavy
expenses on activity meant to provide succor to the needy
and the poor. Venus in the Lagna imbues you with self-con-
fidence and a cheerful disposition and protects you from
physical harm. You also can look forward to increased gains
from business and other pursuits. Rahu powerfully occupying
the 6th House prevents a fall from power.
Taurus (Vrushabha):
The brief period
from 08:39 hours on March 24 to 14:18 hours
on March 26 when the Moon is due to transit
your Lagna is very auspicious. You will find
yourself in the company of people wielding pow-
er and authority. Venus in the 12th House as the lord of the
6th House will fortify you with boldness, moral strength and a
pragmatic outlook. Mars due to attain Swakshetra in the 12th
House will keep you away from vices. Mercury now transiting
your 10th House will greatly help stabilize your career.
Gemini (Mithuna):
The Sun in the 10th
House commanding Digbala brings you a rise
in your career and fame if the Dasas in opera-
tion are also favorable. Lagnadhipati Mercury
in the 9th House confers gainful travel abroad,
pilgrimages and general prosperity. You are
assured of domestic harmony and a steady income on a long-
term basis thanks to the exalted Jupiter in the 2nd House.
Venus in the 11th House holds out the company of friends and
patronage from those holding high office.
Cancer (Kataka):
Mars Swakshetra
in the 10th House brings you fame and
a rise in career while imbuing you with
courage, drive and dynamism. Success
in educational pursuits, gainful distant
travels and enhanced prosperity are
in store for you when Mercury now in
the 8th House moves into Pisces in the 9th on March 28 to
produce the effects of a Neechabhanga Rajayoga as Pisces
owned by Jupiter is exalted in the Lagna. You can look
forward to unexpected gains and high achievements. Exalted
Jupiter in the Lagna and powerful Rahu in the 3rd House are
capable of countering malefic planetary influences to a great
extent and stabilize your status.
Leo (Simha):
Venus-Mars combina-
tion in the 9th House can confer higher
status, increased income, gainful distant
travels and pilgrimages and general
prosperity if you are running favorable
Dasas. Honors and recognition are on
the cards for writers and journalists. You can look forward to
high returns from investments in foreign deals as well. The
ongoing period is not auspicious for any event connected with
matrimony. You are advised to maintain a low profile by resist-
ing the inclination to seek publicity and assert your authority
for sometime.
Virgo (Kanya):
The ongoing period
is favorable for those engaged in foreign
trade, foreign diplomatic service and
literary and journalistic pursuits. Your
health will improve after March 28. Rahu
in the Lagna is a warning against rushing
headlong into action. There is a threat to life for those running
Saturn’s Maha Dasa or a Shani Erashtaka. Mars Swakshetra
in the 8th giving rise to the effects of Sarala Yoga confers
boldness, happiness and prosperity on you.
Libra (Thula):
Matrimony is on the
cards for the young unmarried natives.
Marital happiness, financial gains from
the spouse and domestic harmony are
in store for the married natives. Sun in
the 6th House continues to confer power,
authority and influence on you. The ongoing period is favor-
able in particular for natives seeking or holding high political
office. You are advised to pay greater attention to safeguard
your health towards the end of this week. Foreign travel is
on the cards for those running the Rahu Maha Dasa.
Scorpio (Vrushika):
Lagnadhipati
Swakshetra in the 6th House heralds a
very favorable period for you. Natives in
active politics can look forward to high
political office. Gains even from enemies
and rivals are on the cards. Rahu power-
fully placed in the 11th House fortifies you with courage and
resourcefulness to overcome any formidable challenge. You
can look forward to enhanced living comforts, success in
educational pursuits and harmony in the family. Rewards
and high recognition for excellence in sports, academic and
sports fields are indicated.
Sagittarius (Dhanu):
Hard-
ship and suffering in foreign lands
are strongly indicated. The ongoing
period is not favorable for transactions
relating to lands, housing property
and other assets. Threats to domestic
harmony, disputes with relatives and setbacks to educa-
tional pursuits are on the cards. Heavy expenses, attempts
at sullying your reputation and involvement in litigation are
likely if you are running the Saturn’s Maha or Antar Dasa.
Rahu strong in the 10th Karmasthana can bring fame and
political success.
Capricorn (Makara):
You are going
through a very favorable period with
Swakshetra Mars in conjunction with
powerful Venus in the 4th quadrant.
Power, authority and influence in addition
to comforts and luxuries are on the cards
if you are in right circumstances. The ongoing period is
favorable in particular to those engaged in active politics.
Lagnadhipati Saturn can bring you gains from agricultural
and mining activity, but distance you from friends and asso-
ciates. Mercury in your 2nd House assures you of increased
wealth and domestic happiness and harmony.
Aquarius (Kumbha)
: Mars Swak-
shetra in the 3rd House places you in an
invincible position. You can embark on
your plans and projects confident of suc-
cess. Mercury in your Lagna enables you
to win the hearts and minds of others with
pleasing words and manners. Lagnadhipati Saturn in the
10th House can confer on you fame and career success.
But if your natal Saturn is weak or you are running the
Maha or Antar Dasa of Saturn even the loss of career or a
drop in your status is possible.
Pisces (Meena):
Mars Swakshetra
in the 2nd House conjunct with Venus
indicates enhanced wealth, happiness
and harmony in the family. Sun in the
Lagna makes you dynamic and proactive.
Lagnadhipati Jupiter exalted in the 5th
House continues to confer on you happiness from children,
business success and a sharp increase in income. Gainful
foreign travel is on the cards for natives running the Rahu
Maha Dasa. A high achievement is on the cards after March
28.
