Deadly crash happened on County Road 33 and Bridges Road in Groveland

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – Three people are dead after a crash between an SUV and a dump truck in Lake County on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash happened around 1:59 p.m. on County Road 33 and Bridges Road in Groveland.

According to an initial investigation, the crash involves an SUV and a dump truck, but the sequence of events that led to the crash are still under investigation.

Three occupants have been pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.

The crash remains under investigation.
