On loan Brazilian Ibanez grabbed a dramatic late winner for Roma against Ajax in their Europa League quarter-final first-leg in Amsterdam.
Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen had given the hosts a first-half lead with a calm finish in the 39th minute, but Roma hit back 12 minutes after the interval through Lorenzo Pellegrini.
But there was to be late drama as 22-year-old Ibanez finished with aplomb after the ball broke to him from a set-piece to give Roma a vital lead ahead of the second-leg in Rome next week.
