Two women lived in the mobile home with hundreds of animals, deputies said
POLK COUNTY, Fla. – An investigation into a home in Polk County yielded hundreds of animals on Thursday, according to the sheriff’s office.
In a release, deputies said that the animal cruelty investigation involved a mobile home in Frostproof.
During the investigation, around 100 cats, 100 chickens and ducks were found in the home, the release shows.
According to the release, two women lived in the home in a “hoarder situation.”
