ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – A woman arrested Thursday is accused of fatally stabbing another woman late Tuesday at a gas station in Altamonte Springs, according to police.

The stabbing occurred at the Circle K at 109 E. Altamonte Drive, the police department said in a brief statement.

Officers responded at 10:54 p.m. to a hospital where the victim had since been taken by a friend who was present during the altercation, described by police as an isolated incident in which the suspect and victim knew each other.

The victim — identified as 21-year-old Lakeira Hall — was reportedly stabbed with a knife multiple times by Leanna Ramnarine, 19, during the dispute, police said in a news release. Hall was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to the hospital.

Ramnarine was taken into custody on Thursday, booked at the Seminole County Jail, where she remains held without bond at the time of this report.
