RIRIE — A fire is burning at the Ririe Fire Station at 249 West Ririe Highway.

“We are unfortunately responding to a fire at our Ririe station,” Central Fire District posted on Facebook around 5 p.m. Wednesday. “It is in the auxiliary building, fortunately not the one housing our engine, rescue trucks and gear, but our water tenders and some extra equipment. PLEASE stay out of the area and allow our personnel and those coming from neighboring departments to work.”

EastIdahoNews.com has a reporter headed to the fire and will update this story as we get more information.
