Marks and Spencer is selling a face mask 98% of shoppers recommend due to its 'incredible' skin-clearing capability. On Marks and Spencer's website, you can get the Origins Out of Trouble 10-Minute Rescue Problem Skin Mask for £28, which has some seriously impressive reviews and a near-perfect score of 4.9 stars out of five.
The "problem-solving" 10-minute mask is perfect for acne-prone, combination and oily skin. Customers who have been suffering from bad skin and acne "for years", and claim they've spoken to doctors and "tried everything", say the Origins Out of Trouble 10-Minute Mask is "the best so far" and makes spots "vanish".
The Origins Out of Trouble 10-Minute Mask features "super-absorbent" zinc oxide and sulphur, plus "calming" camphor. These ingredients rapidly soak up oily shine, slough off dead cells, and sweep away debris. Together, they steer skin clear of slippery situations, refine rough texture, and "pull the plug on troublemakers to help prevent potential outbursts."
Its formula does not include parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oil, PABA, petrolatum, paraffin, or DEA. The mask has no animal ingredients, either, except "cruelty-free honey and beeswax."
To use the Origins Out of Trouble 10-Minute Mask, apply a layer to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye area. After 10 minutes, remove it gently with a damp washcloth or flannel.
During those minutes, the clay absorbs excess oil and refines your skin's rough texture. Follow with your normal skin care routine. This mask may be used up to three times a week.
Active ingredient: camphor Recommended for: oily and combination skin Best for: blemish control and oil controlCamphor can benefit the skin thanks to its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal qualities. It can help soothe itching, diminish inflammation, and may assist in managing specific skin issues. Nonetheless, it's important to use it carefully, steering clear of applying it to damaged skin or using it in high concentrations, as it may lead to irritation in excessive amounts.
High-end skincare brand Origins is "powered by nature and proven by science". The company creates "transformative skincare formulas with high-performing ingredients to help boost skin’s natural activities and improve how it looks and feels".
In the reviews on Marks and Spencer's website, DureSamin wrote: "This mask is the best so far. I even leave it on overnight as spot treatment." Rach put: "In my mid-20s, I'm a little embarrassed about the fact that I still get regular breakouts. But, this product has really helped me, and my skin is the clearest it's been in years!"
Fatima added: "After around 4 days the bumps had completely vanished. This is amazing for spots/bumps/pimples that are about to form, I applied it on a spot that I could see was under the skin and the next morning it had vanished with no scarring."
Lilles said: "I've had acne on and off for nearly 20 years now, I'm in my early 30s waiting for a dermatology referral but I'm the meantime found this mask and it's the *only* mask I've tried that's made a difference. It's not got rid of the cystic acne, nothing does, but it's so soothing and reduces the redness which helps a lot. My skin feels lovely and soft after washing it off."
Bethx shared: "I've been back and forth the the doctors and dermatologists for about 5 years now, I suffer with acne and nothing was working, I've tried every lotion and potion, every tablet, everything and still so much acne, this is amazing!! It's cleared up my skin so much, I never usually leave reviews but I know how having acne made me feel and if it helps one other person purchase this I'll be happy!"
Another commented: "After years of doctors tablets and creams, finally something that works consistently. I usually don't trust the hype as it usually never works BUT this for sure does!" Gemma said: "Cleared my skin up when used once a week."
However, Wes took issue with the mask's 75ml size, writing: "Great mask but it's 25ml smaller than it used to be and the same price not really impressed by this been using it for years always loved it but disappointed." Paul added: "It’s always been a good product that works. However the size reduction is not good cost wise."
