An 11-year-old boy has been killed in the carpark of a small Australian supermarket.
The boy was struck down in a tragic crash in the carpark of a Palmerston, east Darwin, supermarket at about 12.45pm on Tuesday.
He had travelled from interstate to visit his relatives, Northern Territory News reports.
Police have established a crime scene at Moulden Supermarket and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The public has been advised to avoid the area.
Detective Senior Sergeant Brendan Lindner said the young boy's death is being treated as a 'tragic accident'.
'It's shocking,' Sergeant Lindner said.
'It's not something we want to be dealing with.'
Police officers were spotted photographing the grizzly scene on Tuesday afternoon.
A Dodge Ram ute understood to be involved in the crash has remained at the scene.
Moulden Supermarket announced it will remain closed for the rest of the day.
