Conor McGregor has hit out at Kamaru Usman with the Irishman accusing the welterweight champion of copying his one-liners after insisting that it is 'green-panty night' for Jorge Masvidal when they meet this month.
Usman, 33, is weeks away from taking on Masvidal in a highly-anticipated rematch in Jacksonville, Florida, having defeated the fan-favourite on Fight Island last July.
The Nigerian Nightmare has swept through the 170-pound division, having beaten all of his closest rival, and it has been levelled at the welterweight champion that he has only agreed to rematch Masvidal because it is the fight that would make him the most money.

Usman has insisted, though, that it is in fact 'green-panty night' for any opponent that meets him in the octagon, such is his draw for PPV buys.
'If I look at all the pools of guys I've been through all of them, now I'm just lapping them all. If we're running a race right now, I'm lapping everybody right now,' Usman told ESPN.
'He [Masvidal] is the first guy, so he's dead last right now, the first guy I'm about to lap. I'm lapping him.

The welterweight king has been accused of taking the 'money fight' with Masvidal a big draw
'So yeah, does he bring a little bit more eyes? Absolutely. I don't take that away from him. I'm proud of everything he has done, absolutely proud of him.
'Respect in that aspect but let's be honest, I have what everyone wants. It's green panty night when you fight me. He's not getting the pay-per-views and stuff like that on his own. He has to fight me.'
McGregor, who famously told rival Rafael dos Anjos in 2015 that his wife would 'break out the red panties' after signing to fight him, responded to Usman's latest comments.

The 170-pound champion's remarks didn't go amiss, with McGregor responding to the jibe
'Am I tripping or is this jack*** always at this? Everything I say,' McGregor posted on Twitter to his 8.5million followers.
McGregor had agreed to take on then-lightweight champion Dos Anjos six years ago as the Irishman attempted to become the first 'double champ' in UFC history.
The 32-year-old, known for his mind games, told the Brazilian that it is a 'celebration' when you sign a contract to fight him, such is the swathes of money it generates for a fighter.

'I can make you rich,' McGregor said to dos Anjos in 2015. 'I change your bum life; you fight, it's a celebration. When you sign to fight me, it's a celebration.
'You ring back home, you ring your wife, "Baby, we've done it. We're rich, baby. Conor McGregor made us rich, break out the red panties. We're rich, baby." It's red panty night when you sign to fight me, yeah, back at home with your wife. It's a celebration.'
McGregor is preparing to take on Dustin Poirier in a trilogy bout this summer at UFC 264. The Notorious' UFC return was scuppered in January after Poirier secured a sensational TKO victory over the former two-weight world champion.
