The NYPD evacuated the World Trade Center station in New York City on Tuesday afternoon following a bomb scare and 'suspicious package' in the building.
Cops put out an urgent warning just before 1.30pm warning people to keep clear of The Oculus, as witnesses rushed out of the station amid an evacuation alert.
They said: 'Due to a police investigation please avoid The Oculus at this time.'
Authorities are believed to be investigating a suspicious package at the transit hub after receiving a possible bomb threat in the Big Apple's Financial District.

Footage from the scene showed police and members of the Army enforcing a cordon as frantic commuters scrambled out of the building.
Emergency vehicles, including NYPD vans and helicopters, were seen outside the area as police continue to probe and evacuate the station.
The Oculus - which is the transportation hub that houses the World Trade Center's Subway and PATH platforms - is one of the buildings erected following the Twin Tower attacks in 2001.
PATH Trains confirmed the line suspension and ongoing investigation, writing: 'HOB-WTC remains suspended. NWK-WTC is operating NWK-EXPL. PAPD continues to investigate an incident at WTC.'
