The northbound lanes of John Young Parkway in Osceola County were closed due to a crash Wednesday morning, officials said in a tweet. (Osceola County)

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A crash Wednesday morning has closed the northbound lanes of John Young Parkway in Osceola County.

According to officials, the wreck occurred past The Oaks community. The crash shut down all northbound lanes of John Young Parkway as of 11:19 a.m.

County officials urge drivers to seek an alternate route.

The Osceola Traffic Monitoring Center is monitoring a crash on northbound John Young Pkwy just past The Oaks community. There is currently a full road closure of all northbound lanes of JYP. Drivers may want to use an alternate route. pic.twitter.com/eDZeh4vkSL
