Crash reported on US Highway 441, north of Ocala

MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A crash on Saturday in Marion County of at least two vehicles sent multiple people to the hospital and killed one of the persons involved, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers were dispatched at 9:45 a.m. to U.S. Highway 441 at NW 83rd Place, north of Ocala, where the leftmost southbound lane remains blocked at the time of this report.

No further details were immediately shared, such as an exact number of people who were involved nor the circumstances believed to have led up to the wreck.
