Dreamcatcher at Grand Targhee Resort open for skiiers

DRIGGS — Crediting the hard work of employees over the last week, Grand Targhee Resort has announced that the Dreamcatcher Lift opened on Friday.

“We are thankful for the snow that we’ve had so far this season,” the resort said in a Facebook post.

However, the post held a safety warning, as well. Although there is more snow on the mountain than on the valley floors, the pack is still below normal levels.

“That means variable conditions, minimal coverage and unmarked obstacles,” the post reads. “There is no easy way down from the top and limited groomed terrain, so please ski with caution.”
