Emergency crews respond to crash at Exit 119, ask motorists to avoid area

IDAHO FALLS — Emergency crews are on scene at Exit 119, the Interstate 15 and U.S. Highway 20 in Idaho Falls. Law enforcement are asking motorists to avoid the area if possible.

A single-vehicle crash is affecting traffic in the outside lane of traffic, officials tell EastIdahoNews.com.

It is unclear at this time how many people were injured.

“Idaho State Police, the Idaho Falls Fire Department and tow truck personnel are working in the roadway,” Karry Hammon, spokeswoman for the Idaho Falls Fire Department, says.

Authorities are using motorists to slow down and use extreme caution as the first responders work.
