BOISE — EMTs were called to the Ada County Courthouse Tuesday afternoon to treat Larry Woodcock.
Woodcock and his wife Kay Woodcock have been attending Lori Vallow Daybell’s trial since the beginning of April. Larry Woodcock reported feeling ill Tuesday and was taken to a private room in the courtroom for medical attention.
Kay Woodcock released the following statement to EastIdahoNews.com later that afternoon:
“Thank you all for your concern. This trial has been overwhelming, to say the least. Today Larry was overcome with emotions causing him to feel sick. EMTs checked him and he was okay. We came to our apartment and he took a nap. We’re relaxing the rest of today and again tomorrow since the jury instruction will be later. We appreciate your support and prayers,” she said.
The prosecution and defense both rested in the trial Tuesday. They will meet with Judge Steven Boyce Wednesday to finalize jury instruction and jurors will return to the courthouse Thursday to hear closing arguments before deliberating.
