Endangered girl, 16, missing out of Jacksonville for almost 6 months, authorities say

A Florida Missing Child alert was transmitted Sunday for an endangered 16-year-old girl last seen in Jacksonville nearly six months ago, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

Jonae Seaborn went missing Jan. 28, last seen in the area of the 1370 block of Shearwater Drive, and may be in the company of 33-year-old Georges Jerome, according to FDLE. The two may be traveling in a red SUV, officials said.

Seaborn is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes, according to FDLE. Jerome was described as being 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with knowledge of Seaborn’s whereabouts is urged to contact FDLE, or the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or 911.

News 6 checked with FDLE to confirm that Seaborn has reportedly been missing since Jan. 28.
