Pop-culture convention runs Feb. 1-4 in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – MegaCon Orlando added three big names this week to its list of celebrities for their February convention.

On Monday, the pop-culture convention added Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis to its celebrity lineup.

Then on Tuesday MegaCon announced “Star Wars” legend Ewan McGregor would attend the convention on Saturday and Sunday.

MegaCon is selling a special package to meet McGregor, which includes an autograph, a photo-op and a ticket to an event with him. That package goes on sale Wednesday.

MegaCon is promising more celebrity guest announcements this week.

So far, 33 screen actors have committed to coming to the four-day convention. Other celebrity guests include Paul Bettany, Joseph Quinn, Robin Wright, Cary Elwes, William Shatner, Anthony Daniels, Danny Trejo, Alyssa Milano, Shannen Doherty and Randy Quaid. A full list can be found here.

There will also be voice actors like Peter Cullen and Frank Welker of “The Transformers,” anime stars, comic book artists, gaming stars and more.

MegaCon runs Feb. 1-4 at the Orange County Convention Center. Tickets are on sale through the MegaCon website.
