Lawsuit claims mother fell from Carro-Seuss-El in 2022
ORLANDO, Fla. – A Brazilian family of three is suing Universal after a woman fell from a Dr. Seuss ride last year, according to the lawsuit filed on Friday.
The lawsuit — filed by Juliana Asquino, her husband and her daughter — says that Asquino was visiting Universal’s Islands of Adventure in June 2022.
While there, she got on the “Carro-Seuss-El” ride, though she fell while dismounting from a “beast,” the lawsuit reads.
Asquino claims she sustained “severe personal injuries,” which are permanent and will continue to impair her in the future.

The lawsuit also claims that Asquino’s husband and daughter have suffered as a result of her injuries due to “the deprivation of consortium and services” of Asquino.
Because of this, the lawsuit accuses Universal of negligence, saying that the theme park failed to prevent Asquino’s fall.
The family is seeking damages over $50,000.
