Fertilizer was brought in without proper system by previous govt.: Lokuge

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna MP Gamini Lokuge today stated that fertilizer was brought into the country without a proper system being instilled which has resulted in the importation of poisonous fertilizer.

“Fertilizer has been brought in during the previous government without a proper system. Those who did that damage are now accusing the government of importing poisonous fertilizer. We are not involved in this,” he said.

He also said that this is the same case as the unrefined oil crisis.
