Seminole County fire officials said a fiery crash along Interstate 4 blocked off traffic on Thursday evening. (Seminole County Fire Department)

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A crash along Interstate 4 blocked traffic along the highway on Thursday evening, according to the Seminole County Fire Department.

In a release, fire officials said the crash involved a single vehicle, which caught fire in the westbound lanes.

As a result, all lanes were blocked, the release states.

An image posted by the SCFD shows the wreckage near mile marker 101 on Interstate 4.

No additional information has been provided at this time, including the cause of the crash or whether anyone was hurt.
