George Clooney Turns on Biden: It’s Time to Go, Joe

Hollywood actor and powerful Democratic benefactor George Clooney has joined in the chorus of calls for President Joe Biden to bow out of the election, penning an open letter in the The New York Times on Wednesday entitled, “I Love Joe Biden. But We Need a New Nominee.”

The star, who said Biden was his first choice in 2016 election and who excused the president’s slipping poll numbers in 2021, comparing Biden to a “battered child” on his first day of school, finally crossed the Rubicon on Wednesday.

“We are not going to win in November with this president,” he declared.
