Crash happened near US Highway 441 and Lake Eustis Drive

TAVARES, Fla. – Drivers can expect heavy traffic delays due to a crash in Tavares on Friday night, according to the police department.

Police said the crash involved a pedestrian, and happened near the intersection of U.S. Highway 441 and Lake Eustis Drive.

The traffic delays are expected in the southbound/eastbound lanes while law enforcement works to redirect traffic around the crash scene, police added.
