ITV Emmerdale exit 'sealed' as John Sugden smashes up car in worrying rage

4 weeks ago 333

Emmerdale viewers witnessed a shocking outburst from John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) as he violently attacked a car following a significant error at work, and now fans think one villager is in grave danger.

Since his arrival in the village last year, the paramedic has raised eyebrows with hints of hidden dark secrets. This suspicion was heightened when John nonchalantly disposed of Anthony Fox's (Nicholas Day) body after Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) killed him.

Furthermore, he was the last person to see Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) alive before his body was discovered in the frozen lake in February, where it still lies.

In Tuesday's episode (April 8), Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) was left puzzled when his fiancé John apologised for something in his sleep. When questioned, John attributed this to nightmares stemming from his encounter with Anthony.

John Sugden unleased his fury on Tuesday evening

While on duty at the doctor's surgery, John was researching sleep improvement techniques when Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) walked in feeling unwell, reports Leeds Live.

John initially diagnosed her with a hangover, but Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) later confirmed she was diabetic and required immediate medical attention. Liam then mentioned that he needed to discuss the incident with John.

Upon returning home, John's temper began to flare as he told Aaron he couldn't always be the hero. He subsequently arrived at the scrapyard and called Aaron to apologise before picking up a sledgehammer.

John unleashed his anger on a car, clearly losing control as he repeatedly struck the vehicle with the hammer.

Despite the vehicle currently languishing in a scrapyard, certain Emmerdale devotees are adamant that the car may indicate GP Liam is in peril after his earlier clash with John.

On social media platform X, one viewer penned: "No. I bet it gets revealed tomorrow it was someone's (possibly Liam's) car at the scrapyard. #Emmerdale."

Another concerned fan commented: "Ooh! John's a bit angry there! I'm a bit worried for Liam now! #emmerdale."

Echoing the sentiment, a third added: "#Emmerdale looks like Dr lovepole's car, hope Liam isn't in it."

Adding to the theory, another chimed in: "Oh no! He's killing Cav's car and pretending it's Cav's head! #Emmerdale".

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV and ITVX
