In a recent episode of Emmerdale, ITV viewers may have been given a hint about the identity of April Windsor's baby's father.
April, who fell pregnant and tragically suffered a stillbirth, has never revealed the identity of the boy who got her pregnant.
However, during a gathering at Arthur Thomas' house, a teenager named Ben asked April if she still saw her baby's father, causing a stir among the group.
As this conversation unfolded, the camera panned to another boy in the room, Kai, who appeared visibly uncomfortable, leading some to speculate that he could be the mystery dad.
He insisted on checking up on her, suggesting she didn't need to be alone in the kitchen. She hinted that she was waiting for him to join her, a notion he disagreed with before starting to question her.
Kai assured April that no one judged her for her past, but as he continued to probe, she asked him to stop, promising him a "offering him a reward" if he ceased his questioning. Later, Marlon Dingle arrived at the house looking for April.
The scene showed Arthur and others visibly uncomfortable, with Ben smirking when Marlon questioned Arthur about his daughter's whereabouts.
At that moment, April and Kai descended the stairs, leaving April embarrassed and prompting her to exit the house, reports the Mirror.
The implication was that the pair had been intimate, leaving Marlon outraged at the thought of his daughter having sex in their friend's home but could these scenes hint at Kai being the unknown father of the baby?
Fans remain sceptical of April's claim that the father was "some random" from a party whose name she couldn't recall.
Taking to social media, one person said: "That lad April was speaking to is the father of April's baby mark my words." Another added: "I said that."
A third person said: "I was thinking the same."
