After deliberating for just over 11 hours, jurors in Donald Trump’s hush-money trial reached a verdict on Thursday afternoon.
The verdict was signed by the jury foreperson at 4:20 p.m. local time, and jurors requested an extra 30 minutes to fill out forms before reading the verdict out in court.
Before the decision came in, all signs pointed to jurors actively discussing the merits of the case by closely examining the finer details buried amidst the most damning evidence.
