Kamala Harris’ VP Frontrunner Accused of Sex Harassment Cover-up

A Democrat running for Pennsylvania’s state treasurer alleged in a tweet that Gov. Josh Shapiro was not fit to be Kamala Harris’ running mate in the upcoming presidential election. She accused Shapiro of being too insecure to be “second under a woman,” covering up a sexual harassment scandal in his office, and said he would “undermine” Harris’ presidency.

“I want a VP pick that’s secure enough to be second under a woman, is content to be VP & won’t undermine the President to maneuver his own election & doesn’t sweep sexual harassment under the rug,” wrote State Treasury candidate McClelland on X. She then threw her support behind North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper to be Harris’ pick for vice president.

She added, “I want someone that can speak to rural voters. That is @RoyCooperNC.”
