Krafton held a global showcase for its inZOI life simulation game on Wednesday and shared its development background and early access information.
The event took place in an augmented reality library within inZOI, with participants joining online from around the world.
Kim Hyung-jun, head of inZOI Studio and the game's director, led the presentation and introduced the background of its development and his team.
He highlighted the core development goal for the game was recreating reality, saying that the simulation, settings and art were all designed to deliver a realistic experience for users.
The early access version of inZOI will feature more than 250 customization options, along with rich story elements.
The game includes multiple artificial intelligence-powered creative tools, such as a 3D printer, video-to-motion and text-to-image features.
It also offers a set of creative in-game elements, such as facial capture and costume design, according to Krafton.
The game will also introduce new cities for users to enjoy diverse experiences while playing the game.
The early access pass will be available for $39.99 for overseas markets and for 44,800 won ($30) in the Korean market.
All of its updates will be free until its official release. The company plans to add content, such as freelance careers, a ghost mode and swimming features in the near future.
The updates will be released sequentially in line with the firm’s development road map.
“With inZOI, we hope players can experience things beyond reality, gain a sense of control over their lives and take a step back to reflect on life itself,” Kim said.
“It has been a challenging journey, and there are still areas to improve. However, we will continue to listen to our fans and refine the game for a swift and polished official release.”
