Emergency services are in attendance following reports of a capsized catamaran off the coast of Co Antrim.
The incident occurred 12 miles off the coast of Larne on Monday afternoon, November 4, with the RNLI dispatching their Larne and Red Bay lifeboats in response.
The Coastguard helicopter and two P&O ferries in the area are also assisting, with the incident ongoing this evening. It's understood the incident was reported just before 5pm.
A spokesperson for the RNLI told Belfast Live: "Larne and Red Bay RNLI’s all-weather lifeboats launched this afternoon following a report of an upturned catamaran approximately 12 miles from Larne.
"The Coastguard helicopter from Prestwick has also been tasked and two P&O ferries in the area are also assisting. The operation is ongoing."
The Coastguard has been contacted for comment.
