JEROME — Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle injury crash that occurred at 8:42 p.m. on Sunday westbound on Highway 25 at milepost 14, east of Jerome.
A 2017 Ford Fusion, driven by a 24-year-old male from Jerome, was driving westbound on Highway 25 when he failed to negotiate a curve and struck an embankment. The vehicle overturned and landed in a shop where it caught fire.
The driver of the Ford was wearing a seatbelt and was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital.
All lanes were blocked for approximately one hour while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
