Orlando police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in an Orlando neighborhood on Saturday afternoon, according to law enforcement.
Police said they responded to the 1000 block of Dewitt Drive around 2:35 p.m. in reference to a “wounded individual.”
According to a news release, when officers arrived, they located an injured man and began life-saving measures.

Police said the man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
According to the release, police do not have suspect information at this time and the shooting remains an active investigation.
