Marvel Snap June 25, 2024 Patch Updates: New Features, Card Updates, and More

Nuverse has released the latest patch notes for Marvel Snap, introducing a host of new features, card updates, visual effects adjustments, and bug fixes. The June 25, 2024 update paves the way for exciting new events and improvements in the game.


New Features

Character Albums: Starting in July, players can collect Character Albums beginning with Deadpool and Wolverine. These albums feature a variety of character variants, offering rewards for collectors. Bonus progress will be available through Bundles, Season Pass, Conquest, and limited-time variants.

Collectible Borders: New Collectible Borders will now appear in the Season Pass, the Conquest Medal Shop, and as Login Bonuses.


Visual Effects and Sound Effects Updates

Several cards, including Ice Box, Death, Knull, and Black Cat, will receive new or adjusted visual and sound effects.

Card Updates

The update doesn't include functional changes to cards or locations but focuses on improving clarity and consistency in card abilities.


Odin

- Old: (Cost/Energy) 6/8: Activate the On Reveal abilities of your other cards here.

- New: (Cost/Energy) 6/8: Repeat the On Reveal abilities of your other cards here.

Sersi

- Old: (Cost/Energy) 5/7: Transform your other cards here into random cards that cost 1 more. (if able)

- New: (Cost/Energy) 5/7: Transform your other cards here into random cards that cost 1 more. (if possible)



Location Adjustments

Several locations have updated wording to avoid confusion.

Krakoa

- Old: Your first play here adds its Power to the top of your deck.

- New: Your next play here adds its Power to the top of your deck.


Vormir

- Old: The first card you play here is destroyed.

- New: The next card you play here is destroyed.


Aunt May's

- Old: The first card you play here gets +3 Power and moves.

- New: The next card you play here gains +3 Power and moves.


Black Vortex

- Old: The first card you play here becomes a random 6-Cost card.

- New: The next card you play here becomes a random 6-Cost card.


Castle Zemo

- Old: The first card you play here switches sides.

- New: The next card you play here switches sides.


Bug Fixes

Visual and Sound Effects Fixes

- Corrected VFX issues with Soul Stone.

- Fixed sync issues with preview VFX.

- Increased volume for some VO lines in Indonesian and French.


Other Fixes

- Resolved issues with the Collection Track starting at the bottom.

- Fixed a bug causing UI and matchmaking issues upon signing out and back in.

- Corrected display issues for some Album rewards.

- Adjusted text glow effects in the Cosmetics Shop.

- Fixed framing for one of Killmonger’s avatars.

- Corrected Season Pass reward track display issues.

- Fixed overlapping assets in the Graveyard UI.

- Resolved empty Avatar page issue upon reopening UI.

- Addressed flickering borders in Albums.

- Localized broken text in the Shop.

- Adjusted “Hold to Confirm” text in various languages.

- Resolved Make Me a Deck function bugs.

- Corrected misapplied “New” tags to variants.

- Fixed UI issues on the Login Bonus screen.

- Addressed claiming unearned rewards from the Season Pass.


PC-Specific Fixes

- Corrected Avatar preview issue in the search and filter toolbar.

- Fixed duplicate display issue in the Collection screen.

- Ensured “Hide Results” button unblurs the screen.


Known Issues Fixed

- Improved visibility for the “Matte Black” option in Collectible Borders UI.

- Fixed issues with Make me a Deck triggering upon card upgrades.

- Addressed Fast Upgrade errors and app restart issues.

- Corrected Seasonal Music stopping issue when changing languages.

- Fixed Spider-Ham targeting errors with High Evolutionary cards.

- Resolved misalignment in the Set As Favorite UI when swapping languages.
