Deadly crash happened on U.S. Highway 27, Frank Jarrell Road in Clermont

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle crash in Lake County on Sunday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash happened on U.S. Highway 27 and Frank Jarrell Road in Clermont around 6:22 p.m.

According to an initial investigation, the crash involves a Kawasaki motorcycle, a Chevrolet Trax, and a Dodge Challenger.

The sequence of events that lead to this crash are still under investigation, according to the FHP.

The motorcyclist – identified as a 26-year-old man from Kissimmee – was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
