A brand-new social event has been announced taking place in Belfast which 'celebrates women, friendship and confidence'.
In the spirit of International Women's Day, Glow & Grow is set to bring women together 'for an evening of inspiration, confidence-building and connection' all while raising vital funds for Women’s Aid.
Taking place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at AMPM, Upper Arthur Street, it's described as "more than just a night out; it’s a movement to empower women and foster meaningful friendships at every stage of life".
A statement said: "The event is the brainchild of local ladies Leanne and Amanda, who know firsthand how difficult it can be to form new friendships as life evolves.
"Approaching their 40s, they met through work and quickly became close friends, proving that it's never too late to find your people. Inspired by their own experience, they wanted to create a space where other women could connect, grow in confidence, and feel supported."
Leanne added: "As women, we give so much to others—our families, careers, and communities—but we often forget to nurture our own friendships.
"International Women's Day reminds us of the power of connection, and that’s exactly what this event is about—bringing women together in a supportive, uplifting way."

Mini-masterclasses on style, confidence, and personal well-being Food, drinks, and goodie bags filled with treats Prizes and giveaways throughout the night A warm, relaxed atmosphere to meet like-minded womenA statement continued: "While Glow & Grow is about fun and friendship, it also carries a powerful message of solidarity. All profits from the event will go to Women’s Aid, supporting their crucial work in helping women affected by domestic abuse."
Amanda added: "We want to remind women that making new friends as an adult is completely normal—and so important.
"This event is about celebrating each other, sharing experiences, and having an amazing time while making a real difference."
